LED illumination

Use of Led technology in the production of luminous advertising signs.

More and more companies are aware of the importance of protecting the environment and adapt their activities according to environmental care. In addition, in 2007, Slovenia adopted the Decree on Limit Values of Light Pollution. Because of the small dimensions of other lamps, the installation is simpler; LED segments have IP68 waterproof protection and are therefore suitable for outdoor use. The main advantages of LED technology in comparison to conventional light sources are:

• long lifespan up to 15 years, or up to 100,000 hours
• warranty up to 5 years
• minimum maintenance costs
• up to five times less power consumption than with fluorescent lamps
• less strain on the energy network
• light spectrum without UV and IR light
• vibration resistance
• the possibility of changing the colour of the light
